Joining us again in 2017 is another Chippenham based artist, Meryl Kelsey-Masters, who is a multi-faceted creative. She’s been professionally involved in photography, jewellery design, stage sets, props, and garden design over the years and is now enjoying concentrating on painting and jewellery making.
Meryl says, “my paintings are mostly in acrylics using sketches and photographs at source material from travels. Textures and detail fascinate me, light and shade, close up on anything from tree bark to rusty metal”.
Meryl’s north facing studio looks out on the garden, tempting her out if the sun shines. When Meryl isn’t painting, she likes gardening, travelling, cinema, theatre, and dancing. Painting is not a business for Merly anymore, just an enjoyable hobby, that she likes to share.
