Kington Langley has a thriving artistic community and textile artist, Fi Redmond, lives at the very heart of it.
Fi is a busy mum of four is a charity shop bargain stalker, a devotee of old movies, mother of four and wife of one, and a volunteer with Arts Together which encourages art and creativity in the elderly.
She says, “my work is created in my home, and my textile pictures reflect small domestic concerns, there are brief stories behind the ideas, proud moments and occasional touches of acid. My home is where I also paint murals rather than do the ironing, to the inevitable surprise of my long-suffering husband.”
