With just under two months to go until the Peacock Arts Trail flies again, we thought we would give you a little update you about what we’ve been up to.
Firstly, we are absolutely delighted to announce that we have almost seventy artists and over 40 venues on the Trail this year! Massive thanks yet again to our artists for their overwhelmingly enthusiastic response and sharing our info with their arty colleagues. This has allowed us to make our brochure even bigger and better than ever and we are very excited to offer this little sneak preview…
All of the information in the brochure can be found on our website under our Exhibitor list and workshops page. Maps of the Trail as well as other useful information will also be appearing soon so please keep an eye out for those
We will be doing our usual countdown to the trail on the blog/social media featuring an artist or two a day with sneak previews of their working practices and a taste of what you will see on the Trail. These will be delivered direct to your inbox so make sure you sign up to follow the blog and/or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This year we also added some additional questions to the application form for artists to give us a few insights into their artform and work practices which has provided us with some real gems, so we will be sharing some great hints and tips for getting the most out of the Trail for both artists and visitors.
And lastly, we have been very busy with publicity so look out for us in Bath Life, West Wiltshire Magazine, Wiltshire Life, Evolver, the Ocelot and online in The Bath Magazine. As always we will have adverts in many of the local village and parish newsletters and the local free colour magazines.
Exciting times ahead which we look forward to sharing with you and we can’t wait to meet you all – artists and visitors – to the 2017 Trail!
