CORSHAM AND COVID-19
ARTISTS AND CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS’ SURVEY + FUNDING SOURCES
Corsham Town Council has undertaken a research project to find out what impact the coronavirus crisis has had on the town’s economy and the people whose work is based here. We have also been sharing news of funding schemes and the help and advice available.
We have begun by surveying the town centre retailers and businesses as many of them have been at the heart of keeping our community going over the past few weeks. Now, though, we want to look at other sectors. The Town Council is very aware, given Corsham’s reputation for the Arts, how many artists and creative practitioners we have living and working here so want to find out how the crisis has impacted on them. We also want to highlight the funding and help that is available within the Arts sector during this time.
With the help of the Peacock Arts Trail organisers, we have put together this short survey – it should take less than five minutes to do – which we would be grateful if you would complete by Friday 5 June. The final question asks for suggestions for things we, as a Town Council, may be able to do to help Corsham’s artistic community so, please, let us know your thoughts. You can also email towncouncil@corsham.gov.uk with your comments and ideas.
