Rebecca become a goldsmiths apprentice when she left school and has been making jewellery ever since. Now that her daughter is at school she works from her studio in her garden were she makes silver jewellery. Taking inspiration from the local area and working with customers to come up with unique designs.
Taking inspiration from Harry Potter, Julie works in a small cupboard! She describes it as a space with a pull-out desk and her iMac that is overflowing with pictures, books, ideas and sketches. At the end of the day she can just close the cupboard doors and no-one would know!
As a freelance Illustrator, Julie mainly illustrates Children’s books but loves new challenges too! She has recently started a new venture into Children’s ʺPicture Book Portraitsʺ in the future she’d love to write her own Children’s books as well as illustrating other people’s!
When Julie’s not working she’s constantly sketching, drawing, and spending time with her kids, going out into the forest at the top of her road and having adventures!
