Peacock Arts Trail

Artists Wanted

Open call to Wiltshire artists, Join the first bi-annual Peacock Arts trail.

Open your studio’s, houses, barns & garden’s for the public to view, purchase & commission your work.

Running for a full nine days across two weekends, the first Peacock Arts Trail will provide a unique opportunity for artists to show & sell their work directly to the public. Participating artists will be featured in the trail booklet and in our Directory of Artists which will remain online year on year.

The  trail will take place from Saturday 28th September until Sunday 6th October 2013, Artists living outside the trail area are welcome to arrange ‘pop up’ studio’s in locations within the trail boundary.

The Arts trail was the brain child of local fine art specialist Leonora Martin who along with Gallery owner Stephanie Szakalo & local Artists Emma Leith, Victoria Jarman  & Claire Baker have taken the initiative to promote artists living within our community.

Leonora who lives in The High Street, Corsham said ”There is such a wealth of talent in all mediums within our community, I feel strongly that local artists should be given the platform on which to promote & sell their work. We live in a beautiful rural area and have a wealth of talent on our door steps; the perfect combination to launch a successful event”.

Named after the peacocks that are such a familiar sight to Corsham residents, the Peacock trail is set to include Corsham, Chippenham, Box, Atworth, Lacock, Yatton Keynall & surrounding Villages.

There will be a reduced rate for applications received by July 1st.

For further information, and to view a map of the included area please visit www.peacockartstrail.co.uk or email  peacockartstrail@gmail.com
