EXHIBITOR 2023

SkyDog Glass

Artform(s):

Glass

Artist Statement:

Pj Buchanan is the artist behind SkyDog Glass. Pj's work is influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist art - geometric shapes dominate, with the use of sometimes surprising colour combinations. In an age of bland hues her pieces aim to surprise with their energy and brashness. Recently Pj has been experimenting with glass powders and using silver foil to create surprising reactions with glass. The pieces produced also perform a useful function around the home, as well as being decorative pieces of art in their own right, for example fruit bowls, serving platters and cheese boards.
