Artist Statement:

My paintings aim to reflect my appreciation of the beauty and design in the landscape and to share this vision with those who look at my work. Subjects vary from wide landscapes and seascapes to the more intimate recording of local gardens and architecture. Although I frequently use watercolours, sometimes with pen and ink drawing, I have also worked in other media, depending on the best to use for the subject. Commissioned works have often been requested for scenes of locations evoking personal memories. These are often of well loved family homes and gardens.
