EXHIBITOR 2023
Heather Stone
Artform(s):
Ceramics
Artist Statement:
Graduated from Plymouth University with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, studying sculpture and photography. I make large, bold and distinctive hand-built ceramic forms. Dynamic mark-making creates movement, expression and rich surface textures. I am passionate about the environment. My current work is an on-going theme '..and the skies fell silent...' reflecting on the steady decline of one-time common birds in my surrounding countryside.
