Artist Statement:

Chloe uses a variety of mediums to convey a concept, exploring ideas, techniques and processes throughout the creative journey. She focuses on texture and mark making. Carving into the piece itself is a theme that runs through her body of work. Evolving throughout exploration allows the art to centre around the materials and their potential, the abstract pieces often seen as poetic paintings, a narrative intertwined in an atmospheric landscape. Evoking the onlooker's memory, the paintings take on a different identity each time they are viewed.
