Artist Statement:

Joy has been painting in watercolour for nearly three decades. Landscape and the built environment are her preferred subject matter, and although her work is inspired by our natural surroundings she has a great deal of fun in using other media to create abstract and varied images. Commissioned collages depict whole life stories in paint and fabric often with a humorous twist. Joy's Art Group enjoys coming together in a collaborative and fun way to create artwork which reflects all the artist's individual styles.
