Annie Meier Art
Artform(s):
Painting
Artist Statement:
Annie creates vibrant landscapes to bring excitement to your walls. Annie sees the colours she uses as therapy, with a profound ability to influence emotional well-being and make your home happier! She uses a playful palette to ignite the senses and allow the viewer to be transported to new and exciting places within Wiltshire and abroad. She works in an energetically playful way building layers of colour, line and pattern, bringing in free-gestural and intuitive paint colours to describe the quality of the landscape. Annie will be taking on new commissions during the Peacock Arts Trail.

The Aromatic Garden
I loved this aromatic garden on a small garden in Croatia - it has provided a continual source of inspiration for my work. The scent of all the herbs in the mediterranean air was simply incredible
Sunflowers
As you can see, I hope, I have a love for colour. Inspired by the glorious summers day and the fields of local sunflowers. I set up a stunning still life within my studio.
Peacock
Peacocks can so often be found on the streets of Corsham, and so too amongst my veggie patch! This one was captured in action!
Abstracted Garden
This piece is an abstract based on my work as a garden designer. I have recently had incredible fun in the garden creating a truly inspiring perennial border with lots of verbascums and onopordum thistles. This abstract was a representation of looking through the range of shapes, colours and forms created.
