Artist Statement:

As a children’s book illustrator, I have always loved doing preparatory sketches of people and animals. Lately I have found myself concentrating more and more on this side of my work. Planting myself in fields, zoos, stations and markets, I sketch the life around me. I also enjoy exploring the endless challenges of printmaking and sculpture.
