At Wagtail Woodwork, we specialise in one thing; the creation of unique and painstakingly hand-crafted furniture and pieces designed to bring that spark of joy back into the spaces we inhabit.
Each item we make in our rural workshop near Lacock in Wiltshire is the result of a deliberately slow process; a process in which the surprises thrown up by the way in which we work often influence the final piece. Because of the way in which we choose to create, each item that leaves us is truly one of a kind, possessing the kind of uniqueness that is only ever found in things made by human hands.

My journey to becoming an upholsterer began at London Metropolitan University in 2012, where I studied upholstery for four years. I was awarded first prize by the Worshipful Company of Upholders in my second year and went on to gain a Diploma in Upholstery from the Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers. In 2024 I was awarded the Journeyman Certificate by the Worshipful Company of Upholders.
I really enjoy taking on whatever project I'm approached to do, from traditionally reupholstering antiques to restoring 20th century pieces.
