Artist Statement:
As a child of the 70’s and 80’s music was my life. Finding influence and connection in lyrics and songs I decided to translate that into my own Artwork. I am in awe of Bowie; his freedom of expression and ‘chameleonism’ is a lesson in Gender fluidity and acceptance of self, therefore each of my pieces is individual and truly unique. I use a myriad of sequins, vintage jewellery and other materials to create my pieces. I celebrate the joy of all forms but remain rooted in music as my inspiration, as my soul keeps me there and happily so.
