My work is influenced by the art of the Bauhaus movement - geometric shapes dominate, with the use of sometimes surprising colour combinations. The pieces I produce also perform a useful function around the home, as well as being decorative pieces of art in their own right, for example fruit bowls, serving platters and cheese boards. The glass is hand cut to fit precisely in its place, fused, hand polished, and fused again, sometimes multiple times.
