Art by Julie B
I am a commission based pastel artist, with a particular interest in painting animals. Drawing and painting pets and animals has been a lifelong passion. I enjoy exploring and developing the techniques to create the softness and depth of fur. Presently, I work in high quality, colour fast soft pastels and pastel pencil on various surfaces, depending on the type of pet. This medium enables me to create beautiful, realistic portraits with vibrant colours and layered, soft textures.
